Audit, Certificate Programs or Seminars Audit a Class Get Started Taking an audit course at TBS allows for our students to get a feel for the class atmosphere. Simply attend the audit class for personal enrichment or take a audit class, complete the work and get credit. Certificate of Theological Studies Program Get Started The CORE curriculum consists of 7 courses (8 credits) designed to help students internalize the worldwide impact of Judeo-Christian history and culture by strategically covering all 66 books of the Bible, teaching how to study Scripture, and mentoring the practice of studying specific passages. Most courses are also eligible for CEU credit through the Association of Christian Schools International (ASCI). TBS Seminars Get Started TBS seminars provide an opportunity to learn from experts, that includes interactive discussion, practical advise and hands-on experience.

Provost, Vice-President of Donor Relations, and Professor < Back Previous Next Dr. Scott Stripling Provost, Vice-President of Donor Relations, and Professor Dr. Stripling serves as Provost, Vice-President of Donor Relations, and Director of the Archaeology Institute at The Bible Seminary in Katy, Texas. Stripling is the Director of Excavations for the Associates for Biblical Research (ABR) at Ancient Shiloh (2017 to present). Previously, Stripling directed the ABR excavations at Khirbet el-Maqatir, served as Field Supervisor at Tall el-Hammam in Jordan, and as a supervisor of the Temple Mount Sifting Project in Jerusalem. Stripling did his graduate studies at the University of Texas (M.A.), Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (M.A.), and Veritas International University (Ph.D.). Stripling serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Near East Archaeological Society and has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, popular magazines, and books. He is a popular speaker at churches and conferences around the world and a guest on numerous television programs and documentaries such as Fox News, The 700 Club, The New York Times, TBN, History Channel, and Discovery Channel. His passion is connecting the material culture of the Holy Land with the biblical text. Scott and Janet, his wife of 38 years, have four grown children and four grandchildren.

A native of Miami, Florida, she has three children – Jesus , Alyette and Dalilah – and is married to Omar Soto. Her multi-cultural background includes a Hispanic mother, Lebanese grandmother and Palestinian Christian grandfather (born in Bethlehem, Israel) who migrated to Cuba during World War II and then to Miami. She speaks English and Spanish fluently.

These scholarships recognize students with strong leadership, work ethic, and high moral character, particularly those called to serve in the 10-40 missionary window. 2025 TBS/HillView Foundation Scholarship 10–40 Window & CTTC HillView Foundation Scholarships recognize and assist students who have demonstrated leadership potential, good work ethic, high moral and ethical character, and who need financial assistance to attend The Bible Seminary (TBS.) To be eligible to apply, a student must have been accepted by TBS and fall into one of the following groups: 1.) working/ministering in the 10-40 window (or planning to go there) or 2.) working/ministering the Central Texas Tri-County (CTTS) region of Caldwell, Gonzales, and Guadalupe counties. - Dr. Charles Savelle
< Back Dr. Charles Savelle TBS Adjunct Professor, Shiloh Square Supervisor Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies (1998), The Criswell College Master of Theology in Bible Exposition (2003), Dallas Theological Seminary Ph.D. in Bible Exposition (2013), Dallas Theological Seminary Dr. Savelle is committed to the discipline of Bible exposition and has taught and preached the Bible locally, nationally, and internationally (Egypt, Hungary, Israel, Jordan, Korea, and the Philippines). He has earned a BA in Biblical Studies from the Criswell College and a Th.M. and Ph.D. from Dallas Theological Seminary. While Dr. Savelle enjoys teaching all sixty-six books of the Bible, his research interests relate to the book of Acts, and in particular, the Jerusalem Council (Acts 15). Other interests include the role of the Mosaic Law and the Christian and Biblical archaeology. He is also passionately committed to the ministry of the local church where he has served in a variety of capacities.
