In Colossians 3:16, the apostle Paul paints a beautiful picture of Christian community. He encourages believers to let the message of Christ dwell richly among them—shaping how they teach, encourage, worship, and live together.
This is more than individual faith. Paul is calling the Church to live in unity, peace, and gratitude. Through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, believers are meant to build one another up, learning and growing together in wisdom.
The entire chapter points toward peace within the Body of Christ. In a world often distracted by conflict and division, followers of Jesus are meant to stand out as a living witness of what it looks like to be indwelt by the Holy Spirit and surrounded by fellow believers who trust in God.
Faith is not meant to be lived in isolation. It is part of discipleship, part of living out the Gospel, and part of representing Christ to the world.
Let us not simply go to church—but be the Church—encouraging one another and doing everything in the name of the Lord Jesus.
