Tracs Definitions
Retention Rate:
Percentage of first-time, full-time (minimum 9 credit hours) graduate degree seeking students enrolled in the previous fall who re-enrolled or successfully completed their program by the current fall.
Transfer-Out Rate:
Percentage of first-time, full-time, graduate degree seeking students who transferred to another institution.
Graduation Rate:
Percentage of first-time, full-time, graduate degree seeking, graduate degree completers who did so within 150% of the normal (or expected) time for completion.
Total Graduates:
The total number of graduate degree completers used to calculate graduation rate.
Job Placement Rate:
Percentage of graduates who find field-of-study related employment within 12 months of graduation (excluding those graduates who enrolled in additional higher education programs).
