Dr. Stripling at Emmaus University

Since I have a rare skill—ceramic typology—I recently travelled to Emmaus University in Dubuque, Iowa to teach their archaeology students how to “read” pottery. Two TBS students from Iowa also attended. We alternated between lecture and “hands on” work with pottery. I was amazed how much progress the Emmaus and TBS students made in just a few days. Truly, God is the Potter, and we are the clay.

Dr. Lewis at Texas United Christian Chamber of Commerce

Archaeological excavation site in the Holy Land showing dusty artifacts and research tools.

President Lewis led a three-part seminar in August, September, and October for the Texas United Christian Chamber of Commerce. The Master’s Keys Opening Doors to Success in Life, helped equip leaders for informed interactions in business, cultural and social issues, relationships, and everyday life. Participants explored eight foundational principles common across cultures throughout human history and practiced applying them in various situations. The series encouraged clear, confident decision-making patterned within a timeless, Bible-based paradigm.
