Dr. Abigail Van Huss

  • PhD in Archaeology (Ariel University, Ariel West Bank, Israel)

A seasoned field archaeologist with over 15 years of experience, Dr. Van Huss currently serves as the co-director of the Tel Shiloh excavation and as a field supervisor at the Khirbet er-Rafid excavation. Other excavations she has taken part in include Khirbet el-Maqatir, Mount Zion, Fazael, Khirbet Auja el-Foqa, and Tel Esur. The 2021 class Valedictorian, Abigail's MABHA thesis from The Bible Seminary was published as The El-Burnat (A) Structure(s): Joshua's Altar (Katy: Nehemiah Press, 2022). She and her husband Clayton live in Tennessee.
